Player Series Individual Match Play — Country Club of Lansing

Join us for three exciting days of competitive golf at the beautiful Country Club of Lansing in the Player Series Individual Match Play Tournament!

This is a head-to-head individual match play format — one of golf’s most thrilling and storied competition styles. Players compete hole-by-hole against a single opponent, with the best 16 players advancing through a bracket-style tournament across the weekend.

  • Friday, May 29th & Saturday, May 30th – Qualifying/Seeding
  • Friday, June 12th • Saturday, June 13th • Sunday, June 14th
• Format: Individual Match Play — Bracket Tournament
• Time: Shotgun start — time TBD
• Entry Fee: $100 per player (paid directly to Andrew Abood)

Tournament Structure & Prizes:

• Friday, May 29th & Saturday, May 30th  – Qualifying/ Seeding Rounds
• Friday — Round of 16: Eight matches. Each match winner receives $100
• Saturday — Quarterfinals: Four matches. Each match winner receives $200
• Sunday Morning — Semifinals: Two matches. Each match winner receives $400
• Sunday Afternoon — Championship Final: One match. The champion receives $800

Qualifying & Seeding: There are no exemptions. If there are more than 32 entries, a qualifying round will be held to determine the field. Otherwise, a seeding round will take place the following week to set the bracket. In the event that a seeding round cannot be scheduled, seeding will be determined by the Tournament Director.

Friday Night Dinner: All entrants are invited to dinner Friday night — a great way to kick off the weekend and get to know your competition!
